15-Inch Inside Diameter Polyurethane Press-On Tires
15-inch ID polyurethane press-on tires are commonly used on heavy-duty electric forklifts and large counterbalanced models that move substantial loads indoors. This wheel size is often found in steel service centers, paper roll storage, and large-scale manufacturing operations where tire durability and load support are critical.
Stocked Compound Formulations
Every 15-inch ID polyurethane tire in our store is available in two Millennium Elastomers compounds:
Hyload (95A Durometer) — Built for heavy-duty applications where heat control plays a major role in tire life. Hyload helps resist internal heat buildup during sustained heavy-load operation, which supports longer wear, higher effective load performance, and lower battery draw. It remains one of the most widely used compounds in this category for demanding indoor forklift use.
SPS — Super Premium Soft (88A Durometer) — Designed to reduce ride harshness on larger forklifts where vibration can be more noticeable due to machine weight and operating conditions. SPS returns energy during compression instead of wasting it as heat, helping improve operator comfort while maintaining low rolling resistance and strong battery efficiency.
Contact-Only Compound Options
We can also supply additional specialty Millennium Elastomers compounds when your application calls for something beyond Hyload or SPS:
- HLS — A dependable all-around compound for operations that do not require maximum softness or maximum heavy-load performance.
- HL3 — Built to resist tearing and surface damage on floors with debris, rough dock areas, or other wear hazards.
- HL4 — Designed for the most demanding load profiles in the compound lineup and for trucks that regularly operate near capacity.
- Vulkollan — A premium elastomer known for combining high load capacity with low heat buildup in demanding material handling applications.
- Falconium — Developed to extend tire replacement intervals and help reduce long-term maintenance costs.
- XD593 — A specialty compound for harsh operating environments that wear out conventional polyurethane more quickly.
