12-inch ID polyurethane press-on tires are one of the most commonly ordered sizes for electric sit-down counterbalanced forklifts. They are widely used on equipment from brands such as Toyota, Crown, Hyster, and Yale.
This wheel size is common in warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers that run large electric fleets on smooth concrete floors. These tires are often chosen for their non-marking performance, energy efficiency, and long service life.
Compounds Available for Online Purchase
We offer every 12-inch ID polyurethane tire in two Millennium Elastomers compounds:
Hyload (95A Durometer) — A proven compound built for heavy loads, long travel distances, and demanding warehouse use. Its heat-resistant formulation helps reduce internal temperature buildup, which supports longer tire life and more consistent performance. Hyload also helps lower battery amp draw, making it a dependable and cost-effective choice for busy forklift fleets.
SPS — Super Premium Soft (88A Durometer) — Designed to deliver a smoother ride without sacrificing efficiency. SPS uses an energy-return formulation that helps reduce heat and rolling resistance while improving operator comfort. It is also a strong choice for freezer applications and other environments where traction on cold, smooth concrete matters.

If Hyload or SPS does not fully match your operating conditions, we can also source additional Millennium Elastomers compounds by request:
- HLS — A balanced mid-range compound for standard warehouse use without extreme load or surface demands.
- HL3 — Built for improved durability where debris, banding, or transition plates create added surface wear.
- HL4 — Designed for the heaviest loads and maximum load support in the polyurethane compound range.
- Vulkollan — A premium elastomer known for excellent thermal stability and strong load-bearing performance at higher operating speeds.
- Falconium — Engineered to extend service life and reduce the frequency of tire replacements.
- XD593 — A specialty compound for extreme-duty environments where abrasion and mechanical stress are especially severe.
