Poly 5" ID

5-Inch Inside Diameter Polyurethane Press-On Tires

5-inch ID polyurethane press-on tires fit small-platform electric pallet trucks, stock chasers, and compact walkie stackers. This wheel size is commonly used in distribution centers, grocery back rooms, and manufacturing cells where responsive handling in narrow aisles is important.

Store Compounds

Every 5-inch ID polyurethane tire we list is available in two Millennium Elastomers compounds:

SPS — Super Premium Soft (88A Durometer) — Provides a smoother ride by returning energy during compression instead of converting that energy into heat. SPS helps reduce vibration, protect sensitive loads, and improve traction in freezer environments and on slick concrete. Its low rolling resistance also helps preserve battery charge over longer shifts.

Hyload (95A Durometer) — Built for sustained use at higher speeds and under heavier loads than standard polyurethane. Hyload resists heat buildup, helping wheels run cooler while supporting improved load capacity and lower amp draw. It remains a trusted choice for operations that want dependable performance and longer service life.

Specialty Compounds Available by Request

For applications that require performance beyond SPS and Hyload, we can also supply additional compounds by phone or email request:

• HLS — A balanced all-purpose compound for moderate loads and mixed-surface environments.
• HL3 — Added tear and chunk resistance for floors with debris or rough areas.
• HL4 — Designed for exceptionally heavy loads that exceed standard polyurethane demands.
• Vulkollan — A premium elastomer known for strong load-bearing capacity and thermal stability during higher-speed operation.
• Falconium — An advanced formulation focused on maximum tire life and reduced replacement frequency.
• XD593 — Built for extreme operating conditions where conventional compounds wear out too quickly.
