Forklift Tire Liner Flaps
Shop liner flaps for forklift and industrial tube-type tires. Liner flaps are installed between the inner tube and the wheel or tire components to help protect the tube from abrasion, gaps, and internal contact points.
They are a critical component in many tube-type pneumatic tire assemblies, helping extend tube life and prevent premature failure.
Important: Many tube-type forklift tire setups require a liner flap. Running a tube without a flap in the wrong application can lead to rubbing, pinching, and early tube failure.
Shop by Flap Size
Liner flaps are sized to match the tire size and wheel configuration. Common flap size groups include:
- 8 inch
- 9 inch
- 10 inch
- 12 inch
- 15 inch
- 20 inch
- 24 inch
Always match the flap size to your tire size and assembly requirements.
Used in Tube-Type Tire Assemblies
Liner flaps are used in pneumatic tube-type tire systems, especially in applications with:
- Multi-piece or split wheels
- Lock ring assemblies
- Heavy-duty industrial applications
They act as a protective barrier between the tube and the wheel, helping reduce friction and prevent damage from internal surfaces.
When You Need a Liner Flap
- Your tire setup originally included a flap
- You are using a multi-piece or serviceable wheel
- The tube is exposed to wheel edges or internal gaps
If your current assembly uses a flap, it should always be replaced during tire service.
Need Matching Parts?
If you are rebuilding a full tube-type assembly, you may also need:
All components should be matched together for proper performance.
Before Ordering
Before ordering, always confirm:
- Tire size
- Flap size compatibility
- Wheel type (split, lock ring, or multi-piece)
- Whether your assembly requires a flap
Flap fitment must match the full tire-and-wheel assembly. Equipment type alone does not confirm compatibility.
