22x7 Articulated Boom Lift Z-30/20N, Z-30/20N RJ, Z-33/18, Z-34/22N Pair (2X) or Set (4X)

Z-Series boom lifts use two different wheel configurations — 8-hole and 9-hole — one for each axle position. Pairs are available in either configuration. The complete set (4X) includes 2 tires on 9-hole wheels and 2 tires on 8-hole wheels, pre-configured for the Z-30/20N, Z-30/20N RJ, Z-33/18, and Z-34/22N.

Mold-On Solid Construction

Every Genie replacement tire in this section uses mold-on solid construction — the rubber compound is cured directly onto the steel wheel during manufacturing. This creates a permanent bond between the tire and the wheel, so each unit ships as a single, complete assembly.

There is no separate tire and wheel to mount. Installation is a straight bolt-on swap — remove the old tire-and-wheel assembly and bolt on the new one.

  • Flat-proof — no air, no tubes, no flats
  • Non-marking rubber — gray compound safe for finished concrete, coated floors, and cleanroom environments
  • Bolt-on installation — no hydraulic press or mounting equipment needed
  • Long service life — solid rubber outlasts pneumatic alternatives in scissor lift and boom lift duty cycles

Pairs vs. Complete Sets

Most Genie scissor lift tires are sold as pairs (2X). Many service teams prefer replacing all four tires at once for consistent wear and performance across the machine.

Consideration Buy a Pair (2X) Buy a Full Set (4X)
When to Choose 1–2 tires worn; remaining pair still serviceable All four tires worn or you want a matched replacement
Wear Consistency Mixed — new pair vs. existing pair Uniform — all four tires start fresh
Cost Lower upfront Higher, but qualifies for 15% quantity discount
Best For Targeted replacement, budget maintenance Fleet maintenance, full machine refresh

Tip: If you order 2 pairs (4 tires total), the 15% quantity discount applies automatically in cart — making a full-machine replacement more cost effective.

Before Ordering

Genie brand alone does not confirm fitment. Before placing your order, verify:

  • Current tire size — check the sidewall markings or machine data plate
  • Genie model number and serial number — wheel specs can vary by serial range within the same model
  • Wheel configuration — especially for Z-series boom lifts (8-hole vs. 9-hole)
  • Machine type — scissor lift or boom lift
  • Quantity needed — pair (2X) or full-machine replacement

Verify exact tire size and fitment before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of tires do Genie scissor lifts use?

Genie indoor scissor lifts use mold-on solid tires made from non-marking rubber. The rubber is cured directly onto the steel wheel during manufacturing, so each tire ships as a complete assembly that bolts directly onto the machine. No separate mounting or pressing is required.

Do Genie boom lifts use the same tires as Genie scissor lifts?

No. Genie Z-series articulated boom lifts use a larger 22x7 tire size with different wheel bolt patterns (8-hole and 9-hole) than the smaller GS-series scissor lift sizes. Always match the tire to your specific model number — not just the Genie brand.

What is the difference between the 8-hole and 9-hole boom lift wheels?

Genie Z-30/20N, Z-30/20N RJ, Z-33/18, and Z-34/22N boom lifts use two different wheel configurations — one axle position takes an 8-hole wheel and the other takes a 9-hole wheel. If replacing all four tires, the complete set (4X) includes the correct mix of 2 tires on 9-hole wheels and 2 tires on 8-hole wheels.

Are these tires non-marking?

Yes. Every Genie replacement tire in this section uses non-marking gray rubber compound. This is standard for indoor applications where black scuff marks are not acceptable on finished concrete, coated floors, or cleanroom environments.

How are mold-on solid tires installed?

Mold-on solid tires bolt directly onto the machine — no hydraulic press or tire mounting equipment is needed. Remove the old tire-and-wheel assembly from the hub and bolt on the new one. This makes replacement fast and possible with standard hand tools.

Can I replace just two tires instead of all four?

Yes. Most Genie tires are sold as pairs (2X). If only one or two tires are worn, a pair may be sufficient. If multiple tires show wear, replacing all four provides more consistent performance and avoids a second service call.
