Frequently Asked Questions
What does 10x6x6-1/4 mean?
Overall diameter (10 inches) x section width (6 inches) x press-on hub bore (6-1/4 inches).
Should I choose smooth or traction tread?
Smooth tread maximizes rubber contact on dry, finished concrete and generally wears longest indoors. Traction tread adds grooves for grip where floors may be damp, dusty, or occasionally uneven.
Do I need special equipment to install a press-on tire?
Yes. Press-on tires are installed with a hydraulic press that presses the bonded steel band onto the wheel hub. Most operations have this done by a local tire service or dealer.
