This 6.00-9 tire flap is a replacement liner flap for pneumatic forklift tires. The flap sits between the inner tube and the rim to protect the tube from chafing, pinching, and premature wear caused by contact with the wheel.
When to Replace a Tire Flap
Flaps should be inspected any time a tire is dismounted or a tube is replaced. Signs of wear include cracking, thinning, or deformation around the valve hole. A worn flap can cause tube failures even when the tube itself is new. Replacing the flap during every tube change is a low-cost way to prevent repeat flats.
