Replacement Forklift Wheels

Replacement Forklift Wheels & Rims

Shop replacement forklift wheels for solid and pneumatic-style tire applications. These are bare wheels only — no tire included. Choose this category when your existing wheel is damaged, worn, or needs to be replaced independently of the tire.

We stock the most common split wheel and lockring rim configurations used on CAT, Toyota, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, and other popular forklift makes.

Wheel Only or Pre-Mounted Assembly?

Replacement Wheel (This Page)

Bare wheel only — you supply or already have the tire. Use when your current wheel is damaged, cracked, or bent and you plan to mount the tire yourself or have it pressed on separately.

Best for: wheel-only replacement, operations with in-house press

Tire & Wheel Assembly

Solid resilient tire already mounted on the wheel — arrives ready to bolt on. No press, no mounting, no separate sourcing. Faster installation with less setup.

Best for: fastest installation, sites without press equipment

Available Wheel Sizes & Bolt Patterns

Important: Forklift wheels must match your existing specifications exactly — bolt pattern, hub bore, offset, and wheel width. Even small differences will result in incorrect fitment. Measure your current wheel before ordering.

Wheel Size Fits Tire Size Bolt Pattern Type Common Makes
8x3 5.00-8 6-Hole Split CAT, Toyota, Komatsu, Nissan
9x4 6.00-9 6-Hole Split CAT, Toyota, Komatsu, Nissan
10x5 6.50-10 6-Hole Split CAT, Toyota, Komatsu, Nissan
12x5 7.00-12 6-Hole Split CAT, Komatsu, Mitsubishi
12x5 7.00-12 8-Hole Split Toyota
15x7 8.15-15 / 28x9-15 6-Hole Lockring CAT, Komatsu, Mitsubishi

The 7.00-12 tire size is the only one with two bolt pattern options — a 6-hole version for CAT, Komatsu, and Mitsubishi forklifts, and an 8-hole version for Toyota forklifts. Select the correct bolt count for your machine.

Wheel Types Explained

Two-piece split wheels are used for sizes 5.00-8 through 7.00-12. The wheel separates into two halves, allowing the solid or pneumatic tire to be placed between them before bolting the halves together. This is the most common replacement wheel type for standard forklifts.

Lockring wheels are used on the larger 8.15-15 (28x9-15) size. A removable side ring secures the tire bead to the rim. This style is standard on heavier forklifts that run pneumatic or solid resilient tires in the 15-inch rim diameter range.

Key Specifications to Verify

Before ordering any replacement wheel, confirm these five measurements against your existing wheel:

1. Wheel diameter & width   2. Bolt pattern (hole count & bolt circle)   3. Hub bore diameter   4. Offset   5. Wheel type (split or lockring)

Equipment make and model alone do not confirm fitment. The same forklift model may use different wheel configurations depending on the production year or factory options.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a split wheel and a lockring wheel?

Split wheels separate into two halves so the tire can be placed between them and bolted together. They cover sizes 5.00-8 through 7.00-12. Lockring wheels use a removable side ring to secure the tire bead and are used on the larger 8.15-15 (28x9-15) size.

How do I know which bolt pattern my forklift uses?

Count the bolt holes on your existing wheel and measure the bolt circle diameter (center-to-center distance across opposite bolts). Most wheels in this category use a 6-hole pattern. The 7.00-12 size is available in both 6-hole (CAT, Komatsu, Mitsubishi) and 8-hole (Toyota) configurations.

Do these wheels come with tires?

No. This category is for bare replacement wheels only — no tire is included. If you want a complete pre-mounted unit, shop our Solid Forklift Tire & Wheel Assemblies instead.

Can I order a custom wheel?

Yes. If your configuration is not listed or requires a specific bolt pattern, offset, or hub bore, use our Wheel Order Forms to submit your measurements. Custom wheels are built to your exact specifications.

What makes of forklift do these wheels fit?

The wheels listed here are commonly used on certain Caterpillar, Toyota, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, and Nissan forklifts. Specific model compatibility is noted on each product listing. Verify exact wheel specifications before ordering — the same forklift model may use different wheel configurations depending on production year.
