JLG Scissor Lift & Vertical Mast Lift Tire Sets

Shop JLG-specific replacement tires sold as pairs (2X) for common JLG electric scissor lifts and vertical mast lifts. Every product in this section is an Exmile CON-Series mold-on solid tire in non-marking rubber — the tire is cured directly onto the steel wheel during manufacturing and ships as a complete, ready-to-install assembly that bolts onto the machine.

JLG Tire Sizes & Applications

Each tire size corresponds to specific JLG scissor lift models. The table below shows available sizes and which models they fit.

Tire Size JLG Models Hub Spec Available As
323x100 1230ES, 1930ES Pair (2X)
406x125 2030ES, 2630ES, 2646ES, 3246ES Pair (2X)
16x5 (86) 2148RS Hub 86 Pair (2X)
16x5 (186.4) 2148RS Hub 186.4 Pair (2X)

JLG 1230ES is a vertical mast lift, not a scissor lift, but uses the same 323x100 tire and wheel assembly as the 1930ES scissor lift. The same replacement tire fits both machines.

JLG 2148RS uses two different hub specifications. The 16x5 tire size comes in hub 86 and hub 186.4 configurations. Verify your hub spec before ordering — installing the wrong hub size will not fit your machine. Check the data plate or measure the existing wheel hub to confirm.

Exmile CON-Series — Mold-On Solid Construction

Every JLG replacement tire in this section uses the Exmile CON-Series mold-on solid construction — an OEM-approved tire line by Genie, Manitou, Airo, and Dingli. The high natural rubber compound is cured directly onto the steel wheel during manufacturing, creating a permanent bond between the tire and the wheel with low rolling resistance. Each unit ships as a single, complete assembly.

There is no separate tire and wheel to mount. Installation is a straight bolt-on swap — remove the old tire-and-wheel assembly and bolt on the new one.

  • Flat-proof — no air, no tubes, no flats
  • Non-marking rubber — safe for finished concrete, coated floors, and warehouse surfaces
  • Bolt-on installation — no hydraulic press or mounting equipment needed
  • Long service life — solid rubber outlasts pneumatic alternatives in scissor lift duty cycles

Safety Notice: Scissor lift tire replacement involves lifting and supporting equipment that weighs several thousand pounds. Always follow the jack point locations and support procedures in your JLG service manual. Use rated jack stands — never work under a machine supported only by a floor jack. If you are not trained or equipped for this work, have a qualified service technician perform the installation.

The installation steps above are provided as a general overview only and do not replace the procedures in your equipment manufacturer’s service manual.

Pairs vs. Full-Machine Replacement

All JLG scissor lift tires in this section are sold as pairs (2X). If you need to replace all four tires, order two pairs to cover the full machine.

Consideration Buy One Pair (2X) Buy Two Pairs (4X)
When to Choose 1–2 tires worn; remaining pair still serviceable All four tires worn or you want a matched replacement
Wear Consistency Mixed — new pair vs. existing pair Uniform — all four tires start fresh
Cost Lower upfront Higher, but qualifies for 7.5% discount (2 pairs = 2 items)
Best For Targeted replacement, budget maintenance Fleet maintenance, full machine refresh

Tip: Each pair counts as one item in the cart. Ordering 2 pairs (one full machine) qualifies for the 7.5% discount automatically. Consolidating 4+ pairs across multiple machines in a single order reaches the 15% tier.

We recommend replacing all four tires (2 pairs) at the same time whenever possible. Scissor lifts rely on consistent tire diameter across all four corners to maintain a level platform at height. Mismatched tire wear between axles can cause the machine to tilt beyond the limits of its pothole protection system, triggering a fault or creating a stability concern. This is the primary reason single tires are not offered.

Before Ordering

JLG brand alone does not confirm fitment. Before placing your order, verify:

  • Current tire size — check the sidewall markings or machine data plate
  • JLG model number — especially important for the 2148RS which has two hub configurations
  • Hub specification — for 16x5 tires, confirm whether your machine uses hub 86 or hub 186.4
  • Quantity needed — one pair (2X) or two pairs for a full-machine replacement

Verify exact tire size and fitment before ordering.

Brand Note: The primary brand for this product line is Exmile CON-Series. If the Exmile CON-Series is temporarily out of stock, an equivalent replacement brand may be substituted. Any substitute is guaranteed to fit the same JLG models and wheel configurations listed on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of tires do JLG scissor lifts and vertical mast lifts use?

JLG indoor electric scissor lifts and vertical mast lifts use mold-on solid tires made from non-marking rubber. The rubber is cured directly onto the steel wheel during manufacturing, so each tire ships as a complete assembly that bolts directly onto the machine. No separate mounting or pressing is required.

What is the difference between the two 16x5 tire options for the JLG 2148RS?

The JLG 2148RS uses 16x5 tires but comes in two different hub configurations — hub 86 and hub 186.4. These are not interchangeable. Check your machine data plate or measure the existing wheel hub to confirm which specification your machine requires before ordering.

Are these tires non-marking?

Yes. Every JLG replacement tire in this section uses non-marking rubber compound. This is standard for indoor electric scissor lifts operating on finished concrete, coated floors, and warehouse surfaces where black scuff marks are not acceptable.

How are mold-on solid tires installed?

Mold-on solid tires bolt directly onto the machine — no hydraulic press or tire mounting equipment is needed. Remove the old tire-and-wheel assembly from the hub and bolt on the new one. This makes replacement fast and possible with standard hand tools.

Can I replace just two tires instead of all four?

Yes. All JLG scissor lift tires here are sold as pairs (2X). If only one or two tires are worn, a single pair may be sufficient. If multiple tires show wear, ordering two pairs for a full-machine replacement provides more consistent stability and qualifies for the 7.5% automatic discount (2 pairs = 2 items).

Do you carry JLG boom lift or telehandler tires?

We carry pneumatic tires commonly used on certain JLG telehandlers and boom trucks in other sections of the store. Shop telehandler tires or contact us with your JLG model number and tire size for help finding the right replacement.

What brand are these tires?

The primary brand is Exmile CON-Series, a mold-on solid tire line that is OEM-approved by Genie, Manitou, Airo, and Dingli. If the Exmile CON-Series is temporarily out of stock, an equivalent replacement brand may be substituted. Any substitute is guaranteed to fit the same JLG models and wheel configurations listed on this page.
