Forklift Tire Company, Inc. stands behind every product we sell. This policy outlines your rights regarding returns, exchanges, refunds, and product warranties. Please read it carefully before placing your order and contact us with any questions.
30-Day Return Policy
We accept returns on new and unused products within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must be in their original, uninstalled condition — free of mounting marks, damage, or wear.
How to Initiate a Return
All returns require prior authorization. To start a return, contact us before shipping anything back:

We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number may be refused.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. You are responsible for arranging and paying for return freight. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. Please pack all items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
Restocking Fee
Returned items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 30% of the product purchase price. The restocking fee covers inspection, repackaging, and restocking costs. Defective products returned under warranty are exempt from restocking fees.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Custom-built wheels — wheels assembled, pressed, or built to order
- Used or installed tires — any tire that has been mounted, driven on, or shows signs of use
- Pressed-on or pressed-off tire assemblies — tires that have been pressed onto or removed from a wheel or rim
Exchanges
We accept exchanges within the same 30-day window. If you need a different size, type, or quantity, contact us and we will work with you to arrange an exchange. The same return conditions apply — items must be new, unused, and uninstalled. Any price difference between the original and replacement product will be charged or refunded accordingly.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund. You should expect to receive your refund within approximately 30 days of us receiving the returned item. This time period accounts for:
- Inspection and processing: 3 to 5 business days after we receive the item
- Bank processing: 5 to 10 business days for your financial institution to post the credit
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The refund amount will reflect the purchase price minus any applicable restocking fee and the original outbound shipping cost (if shipping was not promotional).
Damaged or Defective Products
If your order arrives damaged or you receive a defective product, contact us immediately — ideally within 48 hours of delivery. Please have the following ready:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damage or defect
- Photos of the packaging (for shipping damage claims)
For products damaged in transit, we will file a freight claim on your behalf. Defective products will be replaced or refunded at no additional cost to you, and restocking fees do not apply.
Product Warranty
Standard Warranty
All tires, tubes, flaps, and accessories sold by Forklift Tire Company are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, overloading, improper installation, accidents, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
Rubber Tracks Warranty (CTL / Compact Track Loaders)
DRTY-brand rubber tracks carry a separate warranty: 12 months or 1,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. If a defect is found within the warranty period, a prorated refund will be issued based on remaining life. This warranty does not cover damage from improper tensioning, track misalignment, operation on abrasive surfaces beyond the product's rated use, or normal wear.
Custom-Built Wheels
Custom-built wheel assemblies are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Because these are built to order, they are not eligible for return or exchange unless defective.
What Is Not Covered
No warranty — standard or extended — covers the following:
- Damage from improper installation, overloading, or misuse
- Normal wear and tear
- Products used on equipment they were not sized for (always verify exact tire size and fitment before ordering)
- Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect performance
- Damage caused during installation or removal by a third party
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have not yet shipped can typically be cancelled at no charge. Once an order has shipped, it becomes a return and is subject to the return policy above.
